Patio at OMLT POMLT Camp Phoenix
Depicts a view from the patio at Camp Phoenix in Afghanistan. The drawing refers to the OMLT (Operational Mentor and Liaison Team) , which was designed to assist with the development of the ANA (Afghan National Army) and POMLT, Police mentor and Liaison Team, designed to assist with the development of the ANP (Afghan National Police) at Camp Phoenix. Camp Phoenix was a large US support base for operations in Kabul and adjacent provinces that also house Australians. Stephen Delaney (1954-) is a Canadian Army Reservist and his regiment is the Governor General's Foot Guards in Ottawa. He has completed two tours of Afghanistan; in 2006 and 2010. Delaney has also trained as an artist at the Ottowa School of Art and Emily Carr University in Canada.
