A makeshift command post inside an abandoned compound used by Mentoring and Reconstruction Task Force 1 (MRTF-1) personnel as a patrol base during the construction of nearby Patrol Base Atiq. One of a series of photographs relating to the service of Sergeant (Sgt) Jason Field. Sgt Field served as a mentor to the Afghanistan National Army as part of MRTF-1 from 2008-2009.
