Description
Avro Anson aircraft, including A4-29, A4-37 and A4-33, of 2 Squadron RAAF, flying in staggered formation. A4-29 crashed at Arthurs Seat, near Dromana, Vic on 10 August 1938. Killed were Sergeant John Gillespie, Pilot Officer Robert Symonds, Aircraftman 1 (AC1) Kenneth McJKerrow and AC1 Robert Mawson. AC1 James Glover in the rear turret survived the crash.
