Studio portrait of 2377 Private (Pte) Sydney Roy Robbins, 4th Australian Light Horse Regiment. A farmer from St. Arnaud, Vic prior to enlistment, Pte Robbins embarked with the 16th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Itria on 18 April 1916. Later transferring to the 13th Light Horse Regiment, he returned to Australia on 3 May 1919.
