Studio portrait of 11762 Gunner (Gnr) William Lyall (seated) and Driver W Rodgers. Gnr Lyall embarked with the 14th Reinforcements, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade, from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 28 Janury 1916. He returned to Australia on 25 March 1919. V15860 Lance Sergeant William Lyall served with 17 Garrison Battalion in the Second World War.
