Studio portrait of 1719 Private (Pte) Hamen Charles Honeysett, 45th Battalion. A farmer from Cudgebegong, NSW prior to enlistment, Pte Honeysett embarked with the 2nd Reinforcements from Sydney on HMAT Ceramic on 14 April 1916. Later wounded in action, he was evacuated to England. After rejoining his unit he was wounded in action for the second time and, on 24 February 1917, aged 25, he succumbed to his wounds and was buried in the Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, Dernancourt, Picardie, France.
