Informal portrait of 214199 Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Frank Baker and 4717624 Private (Pte) Peter Fraser MM, both of 5 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (5 RAR), tuning their instruments prior to band practice. Pte Fraser was awarded the Military Medal for his actions on 17 October 1966 during Operation Queanbeyan in Phuoc Tuy province, Vietnam. As a stretcher bearer, Pte Fraser attended a wounded section commander and exposed himself to heavy enemy fire in order to care for the wounded soldier.
