Mixed Collection relating to 6557A Pte Alfred Robert Edlington
Description
AIF memorial card containing photograph of original wooden cross marking the grave of 6557A Private Alfred R Edlington. Pte Edlington enlisted in the AIF on 11 July 1916, he embarked from Adelaide, South Australia, on board (A28) HMAT Miltiades on 24 January 1917. He was wounded in action in France on 11th August 1918, and died later that day at the 7th Australian Field Ambulance.
