Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 1768 Warrant Officer Class 1 Horace Stanley Baldwinson, 2 Australian Light Railway Operating Company, France, 1917-1918.
Wallet 1 of 1 - consists of two embroidered postcards that Baldwinson sent while serving on the Western Front. One, featuring the flags of various allied nations, Baldwinson sent to his nephew and asks if he can identify the flags depicted. The other Baldwinson sent to his sister, on which he notes that he has been posted to 1 Anzac Corps School in France.
