Description
Informal portrait of Australian journalists Bruce Sydney Pigott (left) and Hugh Lunn outside the Reuters Office. Bruce worked as a war correspondent for Reuters and was one of four journalists killed near Saigon on 5 May 1968 when a Mini-moke they were travelling in was ambushed by the Viet Cong. The other journalists were Ronald Bruce Laramy, (British), Reuters; Michael Birch, (Australian), Australian Associated Press and John Cantwell, (Australian), Time and Life. Frank Palmos, another Australian journalist, survived.
