Studio portrait of QX9015 Gunner (Gnr) Walter Nelson Crouch, 2/10 Field Regiment. Gnr Crouch was taken prisoner by the Japanese in early 1942 after the failed attempt to defend Malaya and Singapore. He survived captivity and returned to Australia in 1945.
