Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 244 Private Alexander Madden Foot, 5 Australian Light Horse. Collection consists of a typed annotated manuscript of the letters written home by Pte Foot during 1914-15. They maining relate to training in Australia and Egypt. Pte Foot arrived on Gallipoli in November and was killed in action a few days later on 22 November 1915.
