Studio portrait of QX6407 Captain (Capt) John Harris Samuels, a Regimental Medical Officer of 2/15 Battalion. Capt Samuels was killed in action in the vicinity of El Wishka on 25 October 1942, and is buried at the El Alamein War Cemetery at Marsa Matruh, Egypt.
