A collection of eight photographs relating to the service of QX4600 Corporal (Cpl) Donald Stewart Williams, 1 Australian Corps of Signals. The images include portraits of Cpl Williams; NX58893 Edmund Blaker MM; and VX10126 Signalman Lionel Daniel (Danny) Craig, later prisoner of war (POW) with "Tubby" Craig, probably his brother VX5041 Sergeant Alexander Crombie Craig. A series of images were taken in a Greek village where Donald Williams and Bill Smith were stationed for a few days. The images and captions on the versos illustrate the interaction between the Australian soldiers and the Greek villagers, including John Moukidis leader of the village Falange youth movement of Greece.
