Collection relating the Second World War service of NX5373 Private Kenneth Burke Rubie, 2/4th Australian Infantry Battalion, Greece and Yugoslavia, 1941-1944.

Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection contains a personal diary covering Rubie’s experience as a Prisoner of War in Stalag XVIII-D at Marburg A Drau, on the border of Austria and Yugoslavia, from April 1941 until September 1944, a letter written to Ken from a fellow POW escapee, W. Gossner, dated 23rd August 1945, a letter from another fellow Marburg detainee, Les Andrews to Ken’s wife dated 1992, a Soldier's Record of Service Book, a Soldier's Pay Book and an Entitlement to War Gratuity.
