Collection relating to Daisy Clara Hotham Farrow, Australian Army Nursing Service
Description
Collection relating to Staff Nurse (later Sister) Daisy Clara Hotham Farrow, who served with the Australian Army Nursing Service in India from 1917 to 1919. Staff Nurse Farrow worked at the 44th British General Hospital at Declari, the 34th Welsh General Hospital at Deolali, the Station Hospital at Dahshai, and the Gharial Hopsital, where she was promoted to Sister on 18 November 1919. The collection consists of a studio portrait of Staff Nurse Farrow (right) and an unidentified Australian nurse; and an informal group portrait of night sisters at Deolali, India, with Staff Nurse Farrow second from left.
