Afghan men and youths undertake training at an ADF Trade Training School. The school teaches skills in carpentry, plumbing and concreting. One of a series of 40 images taken by the Australian artist George Gittoes in Afghanistan in November 2008. As an independent artist Gittoes visited the Middle East Area of Operations with the support of the Australian Defence Force.
