Studio portrait of 2479 Driver Leslie Firmin Faulder, Divisional Ammunition Column. A 19 year older butcher prior to his enlistment on 4 September 1914, Faulder embarked in Sydney on the "Argyllshire" (A8) on 18 October 1914. He served on Gallipoli, where he was wounded, and later in France where he was promoted to Bombadier with the 6th Field Artillery Brigade. He was killed in action on 29 April 1917.
