[Menu] Welcome home dinner programme : Corporal G J Howell, 1 Battalion, AIF
Description
Dinner programme with black and green ribbon symbolising 1 Battalion colour patch. The front of the programme, in gold gothic script, is the black over green 1 Battalion colour patch surmounting 'Welcome Home - Dinner To Sergt [sic] George Julian Howell, V.C., M.M / Currey's Garden's, Thursday, January 24, 1918, At 7.45 p.m.' The inner faces list the menu and order of toasts. The rear of the pragramme has been autographed by various guests at the dinner including Howell.
