Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant (later Major) Percy Colquhoun Reid, 5 Divisional Cyclist Company, 1914-1917.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection consists of eight postcards Reid sent to his sweetheart, Annie Macklan of Wagga Wagga, between October 1914 and October 1917 while he was serving in Egypt and France. He sent the postards as momentos, wishing Annie love, good health and, in one, Merry Christmas for 1917. Four of the postcards feature images of ships, soldiers and France; the remaining four are embroided silk.
