Aircraft rigging turnbuckle
Cylindrical turnbuckle 70 mm long, made from steel. Internal threads on both hollow ends. A raised central element is ribbed, such that the user may grip and turn the item.
Turnbuckles were used to tighten an aircraft's steel wire rigging. The provenance of this item is unknown.
