Description
Letter written by a Japanese woman, Ebina Akihiro, to Kevin Frances Kilby (H2812) on 6 November 1945. Able Seaman Kilby was stationed in Tokyo for a period at the end of the Second World War. The letter contains comments on wartime propaganda against the Americans in Japan and hopes to rebuild a "new Japan." The letter writer was an employee of Utsunomiya Railway District Office in Tochigi, Japan.
