CLEWS antenna DF, HF/VHF/UHF 2-2000MHZ
Description
Circular Metal dome-topped MA-445c antenna, 300mm in diameter, and 100mm in maximum height. Serial number 0367. The antenna supports direction finding of HF/VHF/UHF signals in the 2-2000 MHZ range. The item is painted foliage green, with NSN 5985-01-454-9615 stencilled in black paint on the upper surface. The underside is tapped centrally to receive a male thread from the tripod support. Three additional tapped holes provide the means for adding further support. A thin wire rod carrying handle is welded to the rim of the antenna, and sockets provide the menas of adding cables to link it with the Delphin processor. The unit has a corroded internal circuit board.
