Collection relating to the service of 363 Private Clarendon Brock, Derwent Infantry Regiment, 1899-1904.

Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of Brock's Certificate of Discharge, issued in Hobart on 28 May 1904 on the disbandment of the Derwent Infantry Regiment. Brock had joined the regiment at Richmond, Tasmania, on 10 May 1899. The certificate notes that Brock had completed 90 days of service abroad [as 287 with the 8th Battalion, Australian Commonwealth Horse, which was en route to South Africa when the Boer War ended], and his conduct and character with the regiment was "very good".
