Wouldn't you go to jail if it would help end the war?
Description
Corita Kent was a Catholic nun in the Order of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in America. Kent is known for her colourful and confronting posters protesting America’s involvement in the Vietnam War.
In this poster Kent has quoted Daniel Ellsberg, a former strategic analyst for the Department of Defence during the Vietnam War. Ellsberg exposed the Pentagon Papers in 1971 to reveal America’s decision making in Vietnam, which were seen to prolong the War and increase causalities.
