Description
This series contains medical documentation relating to the First World War and post-war service of Matron Mary Anne (Bessie) Pocock. It contains lecture notes from her time with the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS), and two patient registers, one relating to her service aboard the Hospital Ship Assaye in 1915 and the other relating to the convalescent hospital she established at Chatswood in 1924.
