"The joy of the surf - Greece 1917 June 17th, [Sisters, left to right, back row] Riordan, Dwyer, Parsons, Willis, N Lee; [front] N Y Wood, Dickson [behind], Flo Lie, Bassette". From an album containing 142 photographs relating to service of an unknown First World War nurse who served with 50th General Hospital Salonika and HMHS Kanowna 1918. Images of Hortiach, 60th General Hospital, British Red Cross Rest Home, fancy dress events, patients and wards. The date in the caption is believed to be incorrect as the nurses did not arrive in Salonika till August 1917.
