Description

Group portrait of staff (possibly 1st Division Army Medical Corps) at the Australian Red Cross Depot at the Old Bailey. They are posed in front of an ambulance donated by the people of Western Australia. Six members of the Red Cross are seated beside in the middle row; one of the men may be 14369 Private Thomas Henry Parsonage, Australian Red Cross Society and later 5th Australian Field Ambulance. Pte Parsonage died in France on 22 April 1917 from wounds received in action.
