Beveridge, Cecil (Warrant Officer, b.1889 - d.1946)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War Service of Warrant Officer Cecil Beveridge of the 20th Australian Infantry Battalion. The collection consists of two handwritten letters of recommendation written by Lieutenant Raymond Scott Evatt and Lieutenant Colonel Harold Paul in July 1917. The letters were written in support of Beveridge's application for a Commission, and mention his experiences at Gallipoli, including being a member of the last party to be evacuated from Gallipoli, and in France.
