Mixed Collection relating to Sergeant Frank Richardson 402252
Description
Informal portrait of 402252 Sergeant (Sgt) Frank Richardson, No. 104 Squadron, RAF. Sgt Richardson was the pilot of a Wellington aircraft W5362 EP-J that was declared missing in bombing operations over Berlin on 8 September 1941. Subsequent investigations determined that the entire crew had been killed on operations. Sgt Richardson's name is recorded on the Runnymede Memorial at Surrey, England.
