Description
Portrait of 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, taken during basic training at Kapooka, NSW. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by Sig Weller relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller notes: "Everybody’s got to take a 'warrie' and this is one of me during Basic Training at Kapooka. The wrecked building in the background is one of the old 'nissen huts' that recruits used to live in at Kapooka but had been demolished to make way for the new three storied brick buildings they’d built to put the current crop of recruits in."
