Collection relating to Ernest William Latchford
Description
Studio portrait of Captain Edmund Fox 'Nidge' Moore, 38th Battalion, of Bendigo, Victoria. A bank accountant with over 12 years’ experience in the Citizens' Military Forces (CMF), Captain Moore was killed in action on 4 October 1917 at Passchendaele, aged 33 and has no known grave. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium.
