Description
Studio portrait of three unidentified Australian officers, most likely of the 38th Battalion, and Lieutenant (Lt) Frederick James Baxter MC (and later, Bar) (seated centre?). Dated 3 March 1918, this postcard was sent by Lt Baxter to Captain (later Colonel) Colonel Ernest Latchford with the words "Dear Captain, Best wishes from Four 'Blighters' for your success in the New Venture - sincerely hope to follow you again should we ever be persuaded to leave England.
