Officers of Light Horse Camp Menangle, NSW in November 1917. Most of the officers listed do not appear on the Embarkation Roll so probably did not serve overseas and are difficult to identify further.
Identified in the back row from left to right: Lieutenant (Lt) John Kemp Bruce who was the son of Lt John Kemp Bruce (Later captain, a Chaplain who died at sea while returning to Australia on 9 February 1918); Lt F A Jacoba; Lt R T Williams; Lt A Balton; Lt H W Veness; Lt R L Gates; Lt R V Moore; and Lt N Cope.
Second row from left to right: Lt C H Bate; Lt Milner Clyde Bowley; Lt D Drummond; Lt George Douglas Donkin (later Capt Dental Corps); Lt S L Molesworth; Lt R E M McCelland; Lt J Hailey; Lt C Hely; and Chaplain Capt Herbert Stanley Cocks.
