Portrait from a newspaper of Lieutenant (Lt) John Grey Brodie, 31st Battalion. Lt Brodie was killed in action at Polygon Wood, Belgium, on 26 September 1917. Photograph is inscribed on reverse in blue ink "Lieut Brodie. Killed Battle Polygon Wood Sep 26th 1917: you met him in camp Enoggera was near him when he was killed."
