Description
Collection relating to the Second World War experience of QX43663 Gunner Neil Sylvester Harvey, 11th Australian Field Regiment, Northern Territory, 1942-1943. Collection consists of one handwritten diary covering the period 11 January 1942 to 22 June 1943. In this diary Harvey describes his time as part of the Field Regiment in the Northern Territory, mentioning places such as Darwin, Katherine, Coomalie and Humpty Doo. Also detailed are the weather, training activities and maintenance, recreation, letters from home and work done with the RAAF.
