One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. "We’ve been down to Vung Tau on a beach run and are now on our way back through the delta. The back of the US truck has men sitting on a row of drop-down seats each side and there are several men (they’re completely drunk and feeling no pain) stretched out on the floor of the tray. The day of course, has been spent at either The Beachcomber Bar or the Australian Badcoe Club. Either way several (many) beers have been consumed and now the men want a rest stop and to announce this wish …"
