Khaki cord breeches : Victorian Military Forces
Description
Khaki brown bedford cord breeches with horizontal front welt pockets lined with cream cotton drill. Brown celluloid buttoned waist and fly. Waist edge bound with brown cotton twill tape and lined with cream cotton sateen and fly with cream linen. Back darts reinforced on the inside with brown cotton sateen. Inside knees were once strapped but fabric now missing. Lower leg openings each have two rows of five embroidered eyelets for lacing; lower edge bound with brown cotton twill tape.
