Description
Depicts the ships HMAS Darwin and HMAS Adelaide at HMAS Stirling, Cockburn Sound, in Western Australia. The ships are two RAN guided missile frigates, alongside the wharf at shore station HMAS Stirling, on their way to the Middle East during the First Gulf War. Lynne Norton is the daughter of Second World War and Korea official artist, Frank Norton.
