En route to timor. Portuguese East Timorese troops with an Australian officer, Captain A. D. Stevenson, 2/10th Commando Squadron, Officer in Charge, Services Reconnaissance Section, Timforce (3), aboard the RAN fleet minesweeper, Hmas Parkes, on their way to Timor to occupy the island. Identified personnel are: Trooper (Tpr) Francesca da Silva (1); Tpr Celestino dos Anjos (2); Tpr Alexandre da Silva (4). Tpr dos Anjos was killed by Indonesian soldiers outside the village of Karas on 27 September 1983.
