Description
Four members of the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) at Mascot Aerodrome with members of their families soon after their arrival back in Australia after being Prisoners of War of the Japanese for over three and a half years. The four were among six Australian Army Nurses captured from the Rabaul Government Hospital, four Methodist Missionary Nurses, and a civilian housewife.
