Description
Letters describe training at Bendigo and Campbellfield, sickness in camp, sea voyage to England via Capetown aboard ss Runic with a kangaroo on board. Describes further training at Lark Hill in England, and service in trenches in France, particularly the weather. Last letter written just prior to him being killed in action.
