Description
Collection relating to the civilian work of Oswald Spencer Potter during the Second World War in Sydney. Lecture notes, pamphlets, plans, reports and letters concerning the design of civilian air raid shelters relate to Oswald's occupation as an Engineer engaged in bomb census and damage surveys for the Department of Home Security. The collection also contains a completed application form and official permits relating to his successful enrolment as a conscientious objector on the basis of religious and occupational grounds.
