Description
Brass fuze featuring a threaded bottom and a spherical shaped top with a hexagonal locking bolt.
History / Summary
Time and percussion type fuze used on shells fired by British and Australian 15 Pounder guns during the Boer War. This fuze was retrieved from the battlefield after the battle of Zand River on 10 May 1900.
