Tokarev SVT M1940 Rifle Bayonet and Scabbard
Description
Tokarev SVT M1940 Rifle Bayonet and Scabbard. Single edged blade with a fuller to each side, a spear point and proof marks on the ricasso. The hilt has wood grips held to the tang by two slotted head screw bolts and a crossguard with a muzzle ring but no quillon. Stamped 381 on the crossguard. The pommel has a 'T' section mortise slot and spring loaded button latch. It has a pressed steel scabbard with a welded edge chape and two fixed loop bands near the throat for a frog strap. The bayonet is polished steel and the scabbard blued.
