Description
Typescript of Field's manuscript history of his militia service and war time experiences "Warriors for the working day". Item (1) carbon copy with manuscript amendments. Chapters 1-12 plus extra copies without amendments of chapters 10-12. Item (2) original typescript of a different version of chapters 1-12 and 15. Chapter 15 was published in "Stand To" Vol 6 No 1 Jan-Feb 1957 an account of "missing in an overdue aircraft" in Markham Valley en route to Nadzab.
