Arabian Scimitar Sword
Description
Arabian scimitar sword. The hilt has a straight crossguard with round flat ends and double langets. A band of reinforcing wire is soldered over the lower part of the grip and top langets to form a ferule. The grips are wood with an engraved brass strap around the tang and brass and steel studs into the wood. The pommel is engraved sheet brass and has a small ring loop on the end. The plain 'watered' curved blade has a single cutting edge to the point.
