Draft manuscript titled "Darwin Drama" related to the 18 month period spent in the Northern Territory during 1941-1942 by Paymaster Lieutenant Griffiths. The heavily annotated account comments on social life prior to the 19 February air raids, work at Naval HQ, the outbreak of the Pacific war, arrival of American forces, detailed description of air raids and activities related to naval support to the troops on Timor, with reference to HMAS Kuru, Castlemaine and Armidale.
