Description
Small black bound personal diary kept by Stewart during war service, entries handwritten in pencil. Also photocopy of typewritten transcript of diary with additional typewritten transcript of diary with additional comments by family plus a map of Palestine/Egypt area. Diary records daily activities, conscription, care of horses, car maintenance, receipt of mail, El Arish, Gaza, Beersheba.
