Description
Research material collected during research and writing of a history of the 1968-1969 tour of duty in South Vietnam by 1 RAR. Consists of originals, photocopies, transcripts, extracts of situation and intelligence reports, administrative, general staff and operations instructions and order of battle plus operational orders and after action reports issued by 1 RAR and 1st Australian Task Force (1 ATF). Also letters, diaries and comments on manuscript from members on the tour. Plus lists of those who died, were wounded, won honours and awards, list of operations issued of troopship journal issued on HMAS Sydney "Sydnews".
